Membership on the Increase - EPLF welcomes well-known Names into its Ranks

The EPLF could welcome four new members at its last general assembly in Klingental/Strasbourg: Casco Products GmbH (Essen), Herm. Friedr. Künne GmbH & Co (Lüdenscheid), Mepa N.V.-S.A. (Oudenaarde, Belgium) and schattdecor GmbH & Co.KG (Thansau, Bavaria). This increases the number of extraordinary members to 20.

Casco Products belongs to the leading producers of resin impregnated decor papers for the woodworking-, furniture-, laminate flooring- and car industries. The company operates internationally with manufacturing plants in Canada, Germany, France, Malaysia, Spain, Sweden and the USA.

Herm. Friedr. Künne offers metal profiles for the various types of flooring, including laminate flooring and parquetry. Their products are marketed worldwide under the brand name "Küberit". This company, which was founded in 1863, is working for ten years on the laminate flooring market.

The Belgian decor paper printer Mepa N.V. is a strongly export orientated enterprise with a wide product range. Mepa started servicing the market in 1975 and delivers mainly to the furniture and flooring industry, including laminate flooring. The production volume for 1999 is around 120 million square meters of decor paper. The schattdecor-group produces mainly decors for the surface designs of kitchen, living room furniture, and laminate flooring. The product spectrum encompasses wood- and rock-formation reproductions and reproductions of textiles, ceramic and metal surfaces including a great number of fantasy decors in a wide variety of cover and form variations.
